For Spring/Summer 2011, we have developed a number of styles using our very own Hudson Wax Cloth, named after the birthplace of our label, Hudson, Massachusetts. Our Hudson Wax Cloth is a densely woven fabric with a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton, making the material not only windproof but also extremely durable. Thanks to its impregnation of environmentally friendly dry wax, the surface is also water-repellent whilst still allowing for breathability and moisture wicking.

Featuring the Hudson Wax Cloth are the ever-popular Lockwood field jacket and Gibson jacket alongside some new keys silhouettes including the Walpole field jacket and Barnstable day jacket. Definable by their lightweight design and functionality, these jackets exude understated style and are the perfect manifestation of the Penfield Trailwear series.

Penfield recommend the exterior surface of a Hudson Wax garment is re-waterproof once a year, with a suitable re-weather proofing product such as Nikwax.
